Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager Career Path!

Location: Vernon, CA (Onsite, 5 days/week)
Salary: Up to $120,000 DOE + Benefits

Our client, a multi-unit retail company with locations across Southern California, is seeking an experienced accountant to join their team. This hands-on role will support a growing business by managing the full-cycle accounting for all retail locations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the monthly close process for multiple entities

• Perform journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting

• Manage bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions

• Reconcile third-party revenue and payroll data

• Assist with sales/use tax filings and year-end audits

• Contribute to process improvements and system optimizations

Requirements:

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Experience in a multi-unit, high-transaction retail environment

• Strong hands-on experience with month-end close and general ledger

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field highly preferred
