About the Role:

Our company is looking for a sharp and detail-driven Senior Accountant to join our team in Walworth County, WI. Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Manage general ledger activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes

Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making

Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit preparation

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and filings

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required

Minimum of 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment

CPA designation or active pursuit strongly preferred

Proficiency in SAGE 100 and advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
