Senior Accounting Coordinator
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Coordinator to join the Finance Department. In this multifaceted, full-time role, you will be responsible for streamlining complex accounting, tax, and compliance functions across multiple entities. You will act as a central pillar for financial operations, managing high-volume tasks ranging from PP&E reconciliations to intricate sales tax analysis.

Responsibilities
Oversee and reconcile monthly Property, Plant & Equipment (PP&E) schedules for all business units.
Manage the end-to-end customer rebate process, including month-end analysis, direct communication, and payment approvals.
Coordinate high-volume freight invoice coding and transaction entry to ensure accurate ledger placement.
Audit and process corporate credit card activity, verifying documentation and proper department coding.
Execute monthly sales and property tax analyses to ensure multi-state compliance and timely filings.
Maintain accurate franchise tax data within QuickBooks to facilitate seamless external reporting.
Facilitate insurance compliance by coordinating Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and reviewing customer contract requirements.
Maintain rigorous document control for corporate files and provide operational support, including payment confirmations and occasional backup reception coverage.
Execute credit analysis for new vendors and customers while supporting collections efforts as necessary.
Qualifications
3+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a multi-entity or corporate environment.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Associate or Bachelor’s preferred).
Demonstrated proficiency in QuickBooks or comparable mid-market ERP systems.
Deep functional knowledge of sales tax, property tax, and general ledger reconciliation.
Advanced organizational skills with the ability to pivot between complex analytical projects and administrative tasks.
Strong communication skills for interacting with internal stakeholders and external insurance or tax partners.
Capacity to handle high-pressure deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
