Step Into a Leadership Role with Cocoplum Appliances

We’ve been serving homes throughout Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts since 1985. As we grow our service footprint, we’re looking for experienced Appliance Repair Technicians ready to take ownership of their routes, mentor junior techs, and represent our company with professionalism and pride.

If you enjoy diagnosing complex problems, delivering 5-star service, and mentoring others, this role is for you.

Your Role

● Troubleshoot and repair advanced appliance issues across all major brands. ● Maintain and manage your assigned service vehicle and inventory. ● Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers. ● Document repairs via our service app. ● Occasionally assist in training junior techs or leading field ride-alongs. ● Uphold Cocoplum’s reputation for prompt, polite, and professional service.

Compensation & Schedule

● Hourly pay: $30–$40/hour, based on experience. ● Monday–Friday, with optional Saturday availability. ● Paid travel time, van and gas card included. ● Company phone and diagnostic tools provided.

Requirements

● Minimum 3 years of experience in appliance repair or related trades ● Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration, and diagnostics ● Clear communication skills with customers and dispatch ● Valid driver’s license and clean driving record ● Ability to lift/maneuver large appliances using safety equipment ● Self-sufficient, efficient, and driven

● Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Experience

● Certifications in appliance repair, HVAC/R, or electronics, Gas Technician license ● Familiarity with smart appliance diagnostics and connected systems ● Experience mentoring or training others
