Join the premier criminal defense trial team in Texas. At The Medlin Law Firm, we don’t just handle cases — we change lives. We’ve earned our reputation as the trial team in Texas by doing what others won’t: fighting harder, thinking smarter, and going to trial more than anyone else. We win because we’re relentless. We care because it matters. And we’re growing fast. We’re now looking for a Senior Associate Attorney — who is not only a trial warrior but also a natural leader who can mentor, manage, and motivate a team. If you thrive in the courtroom, love fighting for clients, and are ready to take the next step in your legal career by leading and building up other attorneys, this opportunity is for you. What You Get • Competitive salary + bonuses + profit sharing • Full benefits: 401(k), health, vision, dental, PTO, CLEs, bar dues • Transparent path to career growth and leadership roles • Training from top trial attorneys and seasoned mentors • A team culture rooted in joy, purpose, and accountability • A workplace where people have your back, and your birthday is remembered Responsibilities: What You’ll Do: • Serve as lead counsel on complex felony and misdemeanor cases. • Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff. • Oversee case strategy and ensure top-tier legal representation across your team. • Manage and track performance and case outcomes. • Collaborate with the CEO and leadership on firm-wide improvements and innovation. Qualifications: • Licensed to practice law in Texas. • Minimum 7 years of criminal defense experience. • Proven trial record —you’ve tried multiple cases to verdict. • Experience managing or mentoring other attorneys or legal staff. • Confident, composed, and highly skilled communicator. • Strong commitment to client service and ethical practice. This Is NOT for You If: • You’re more comfortable behind a desk than in front of a jury. • You don’t want to keep learning or growing. • You treat the law like a job, not a calling. We’re not looking for average. We’re building elite. Compensation: $125,000 + higher commensurate with experience
