The Role As a Senior Associate Attorney, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients navigating estate planning, elder law, trust administration, and probate matters. You’ll manage a full caseload with autonomy, collaborate with a strong support team, and help families feel informed, protected, and understood. You’ll be expected to bring both legal excellence and emotional intelligence to the table. Responsibilities: What You’ll Do • Lead client meetings and recommend thoughtful, customized estate and elder law strategies • Independently manage your caseload with accountability and professional judgment • Design and draft sophisticated estate plans, including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and Medicaid asset protection strategies • Guide families through trust administration and probate with clarity and compassion • Collaborate closely with paralegals and legal assistants, delegating effectively while staying engaged • Build trust quickly with clients and earn their confidence and respect • Contribute positively to firm culture through professionalism, humility, and teamwork Qualifications: What You Bring5+ years of experience in estate planning and elder law (Medicaid planning strongly preferred) • Active Missouri Bar membership in good standing • Strong drafting skills for complex and customized estate plans • Excellent judgment, legal analysis, and problem-solving abilities • Comfort owning outcomes—not just completing tasks • A team-first mindset (yes, sometimes that means jumping in where needed) Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000
