Responsibilities: • Provide guidance and advice to associate attorneys and paralegals to resolve or prevent conflicts • Anticipate, prepare for, and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration on behalf of clients • Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs • Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal statutes and applicable laws • Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests and responses Qualifications: • Work independently while handling a heavy caseload • Persuasive writing skills and verbal communication skills are critical, along with time management and interpersonal skills • Previous experience advocating for clients in trials, mediation, and arbitration • 5 years of required experience as a senior associate in the legal field • Admitted to local and state bar associations Compensation: $125,000 - $150,000
