Senior Associate, Corporate Accounting | Investment Management Firm
Are you a CPA with 4+ years of accounting experience looking to take on greater ownership, visibility, and impact within a sophisticated financial services organization?
We’re partnering with a leading global investment management organization experiencing significant growth across its business and revenue streams. They are seeking an ambitious, analytical Senior Associate to join their Revenue & Investment Accounting team.
This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional close responsibilities and take ownership of complex accounting, revenue streams, investments, reporting, controls, and process transformation.
What You’ll Own
• Performance and management fee accounting, investment income, and other revenue streams
• Carried interest allocations and related employee incentive compensation
• Accounting research and conclusions under ASC 323 and ASC 606
• Investment accounting across LP interests, debt, equity, and derivatives
• Quarterly valuations, reconciliations, and close activities
• SEC reporting support, including quarterly filings and disclosures
• SOX 404 controls and compliance
• Management reporting and analysis of key revenue and investment drivers

This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership, fund accounting, tax, investor relations, SEC reporting, IT, and front-office teams.
You’ll also have the opportunity to help identify and implement best-in-class accounting practices, automation, process improvements, and technology solutions — with a clear path toward broader revenue-stream ownership as your expertise develops.
?? Ideal Background
-CPA required
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-4+ years of progressive accounting experience
-Public accounting experience, Big 4 firm preferred
-Financial services / investment management experience strongly preferred
-Exposure to fund accounting and SEC reporting a plus
-Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
-Someone who takes ownership and is motivated by professional growth
