    Senior Family Law Attorney (Hybrid) – Austin, TX

    A growing and highly respected Texas-based family law practice is seeking an experienced Senior Family Law Attorney to join its Austin office. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned attorney who enjoys litigation, courtroom advocacy, mentoring junior attorneys, and helping clients navigate complex family law matters.

    The firm offers a collaborative, team-oriented environment where attorneys are empowered to make a meaningful impact while maintaining flexibility through a hybrid work schedule. This role works closely with firm leadership and plays an integral part in case strategy, client representation, and the professional development of associate attorneys.

    What You'll Do

    • Handle a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, support, and related litigation.

    • Serve as lead counsel in hearings, mediations, and trials.

    • Collaborate with firm leadership on case strategy and client advocacy.

    • Mentor and support associate attorneys and legal staff.

    • Manage cases from intake through resolution while ensuring exceptional client service.

    • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other case-related documents.

    • Maintain proactive communication with clients throughout the legal process.

    Qualifications

    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

    • Active Texas Bar license in good standing.

    • Minimum of 4 years of Texas family law experience.

    • Demonstrated litigation and courtroom experience.

    • Strong legal writing, research, and case management skills.

    • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

    • Prior experience mentoring attorneys or legal staff is preferred.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Base salary: $110,000–$130,000, depending on experience.

    • Performance-based bonus opportunities.
