Our growing firm is seeking a well-qualified senior attorney with at least seven years of litigation experience. You will work directly with our owners and associates, defending clients' businesses, reputations, and bottom lines. We are looking for someone who can handle a heavy caseload, work independently, and zealously represent clients both in and out of court. Responsibilities: • Stay updated on changing applicable laws and statutes on the local, state, and federal levels • Strategize, prepare for, and attend trial proceedings, mediation, and arbitration • Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings • Get appropriate documents prepared, such as motions, pleadings, notices, and discovery requests and responses • Provide guidance and advice to associate attorneys and paralegals to resolve or prevent conflicts Qualifications: • Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision • Four-year bachelor’s degree and successful completion of law school from an accredited law school • Exceptional time management and interpersonal skills are desired, as are exceptional writing and verbal communication skills • Member of state and local bar associations in good standing • Prior experience representing clients in trials, mediation, and arbitration • Seven years of experience as a senior associate in the legal industry Compensation: $180,000 - $250,000
