Responsibilities: • Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions • Attend court hearings on behalf of clients and argue motions • Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests and responses • Stay updated on changing applicable laws and statutes on the local, state, and federal levels • Anticipate, prepare for, and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration on behalf of clients Qualifications: • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills are required, as well as persuasive writing and verbal communication skills • Bachelor’s degree with a law degree from an accredited law school (such as an LLM, JSD, or J.D. degree) • At least 5 years of experience working as a senior associate attorney • Member of state and local bar associations in good standing • Previous experience advocating for clients in trials, mediation, and arbitration Compensation: $135,000+ yearly total DOE
