The Opportunity This role offers the chance to lead our Corvallis office, managing a strong caseload with the support of an experienced, high-functioning team. What We Offer Compensation & Benefits • $125,000–$150,000 base salary + performance bonuses and origination/rainmaking incentives • 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and life insurance (plus FSA) • 401(k) with 3% employer contribution after 1 year • Generous PTO: 3 weeks' vacation (increases with tenure) + 40 hours sick leave • Employee Assistance Program • Hybrid flexibility / work-from-home options • A genuinely supportive, team-first culture that values work-life balance Responsibilities: What You’ll Do • Manage a caseload of 25–40 DUI and related criminal defense matters • Counsel clients with clarity, empathy, and strategic insight • Develop and execute case strategies aligned with client goals • Represent clients at arraignments, hearings, and trials • Handle DMV administrative hearings and license suspension matters • Negotiate with prosecutors and litigate when necessary • Draft motions, conduct legal research, and argue in court • Participate in ongoing DUI defense training and skill development • Contribute to business development using proven firm systems (“rainmaking”) • Mentor and support junior attorneys as needed Qualifications: What You Bring • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school • Active membership in the Oregon State Bar (in good standing) • 5+ years of criminal law experience (defense, prosecution, or judicial), including trial experience • DUI defense and/or felony case experience • Strong working knowledge of Oregon criminal law and procedure • Courtroom confidence and sound judgment under pressure • Familiarity with Oregon DMV license consequences • Experience in Willamette Valley, Eugene-area, Coastal, or Portland Metro courts • Spanish fluency • Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience Compensation: $125,000 - $150,000 annually + bonus
