Senior Audit Accountant

Insero Talent Solution has partnered with a CPA firm to recruit for a Senior Audit Accountant in the Rochester, NY area.

As a Senior Auditor, get exposure to commercial, non-profit, and employee benefit plan audits.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead audit engagements and review staff work before Manager/Partner review
• Escalate complex issues to Managers/Partners
• Prepare financial statements, notes, schedules, and management letters
• Evaluate internal controls and help prepare audit programs
• Develop strong client relationships and maintaining awareness of client business needs
• Coach Staff Accountants and Interns

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA-eligible required)
• Minimum 3 years of public accounting audit experience
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Detail-oriented
• CPA or advanced degree (MBA/Master’s) preferred
• Proficiency with Excel and audit software

Base salary range: $69,000 – $92,000 annually
