    Envirowaste Services Group is seeking a reliable, highly organized Senior Billing and Collections Specialist with a strong background in finance and a flexible schedule. This individual should be well-versed in contract administration oversight and be comfortable with a direct partnership with field operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely accounting for all revenue.

    This is a hands-on position with interesting challenges and great opportunities. You must be willing to work hard, as we are looking for a top performer. This position will be responsible for recording daily revenue, invoicing customers, including preparing required customer pay applications, collections, daily A/R metrics, etc. Diligent oversight of this process is important to ensure accurate and timely collections and financials. This position will be responsible for communicating directly with field staff, upper management, and customers.

    Senior Billing and Collections Specialist Experience Requirements:

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with many daily deliverables
    • Able to take direction well.
    • Team Player and Independent worker
    • Positive Can-Do Attitude with a “roll up the sleeves” approach
    • Ability to research details and resolve issues quickly
    • Ability to work cross-functionally to accomplish goals
    • Excel intermediate skills a plus (lookups, sumif, formatting skills for presentations, pivot tables)
    • Construction-related finance experience highly preferred, 5-10 years +
    • Understanding and creating pay applications “AIA”
    • Ability to interpret and understand customer contracts
    • B.S. Business Admin., Accounting, or Finance a plus

    Senior Billing and Collections Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Reporting directly to a Finance Manager
    • Invoicing daily and monthly work per contract terms
    • Collection calls per contract terms and building customer relationships
    • Apply daily cash to general ledger
    • Depositing daily cash in the bank with a scanner
    • Raising Credit Memo/Debit Memo’s for adjustments
    • Participating in daily month-end close meetings with the Accounting Department and running regional ar meetings
    • Participate in budgeting and forecast efforts of the customer base, to include cash forecasting
    • Management of AR trial balance to understand billing cycle and cash projections
    • Documenting the collection and billing of complex contracts
    • Maintain daily Scorecards and KPI’s on business and customer base
