Role: Senior Business Analyst (Insurance) – Architect Level Location: @ NYC, NY.

Job Description:

• Experience of working as a business analyst in a major consultancy and the ability to demonstrate core consulting values
• Underwriting requirements and processes in commercial Insurance
• Demonstrable hands-on experience of complex systems implementations across multiple functional areas and territories.
• Self-starter able to work without day-to-day direction.
• Experience of working successfully with multiple vendors and internal delivery teams to achieve on time, on budget and quality delivery.
• Strong IT and business stakeholder management skills. Able to work directly with key business resources across underwriting and actuarial.
• Document current business processes and workflows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
• Create detailed process maps and diagrams to aid in visualizing and understanding current and future states.
• Have a broad understanding of application and environment architecture including dataflow into an Enterprise Datawarehouse and onwards to further downstream applications.
• Clear communication on project recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Facilitate meetings and presentations to share insights and gather feedback
• Previous experience with commercial combined insurance products is beneficial.
