This position will primarily work remotely with occasional travel to support team and business needs within the state of Wisconsin. Responsibilities: What You’ll Do In this role, you’ll collaborate across departments to understand business needs, document requirements, and help ensure solutions land effectively. You’ll work on a mix of process improvements, technology enhancements, and operational initiatives that support our mission and our customers. You will: • Partner with business units to understand needs, gather requirements, and identify process improvement opportunities. • Conduct interviews and workshops with end users to document workflows, uncover gaps, and clarify business needs. • Work with subject-matter experts to ensure solutions align with operational processes and company goals. • Support project teams throughout the SDLC, validating business rules and ensuring requirements are clearly understood. • Perform data analysis by querying enterprise systems to validate requirements, troubleshoot issues, and support decision-making. • Assist in developing business cases by assessing benefits, risks, and costs. • Contribute to UAT and QA activities to ensure delivered solutions meet the intended outcomes. • Collaborate with technology teams to evaluate system capabilities and confirm alignment with business needs. • Participate in incident and problem-management activities, helping identify root causes and potential solutions. • Support moderately complex initiatives with analytical insights and structured documentation. • Escalate ambiguous or complex issues to Lead Analysts or project leadership as needed. • Stay current on industry best practices and contribute to improving BA standards, templates, and team processes. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent experience. • 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role. • Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation. • Familiarity with project management methodologies and the SDLC. • Ability to query/analyze data using enterprise systems or reporting tools. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements. • Effective written and verbal communication with the ability to work cross-functionally. • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and clarifying information in evolving project environments. • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities. • Ability to build strong relationships, stay customer-focused, and operate with integrity. • Growth mindset and ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities. Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 yearly
