    Location: Albany, NY / Remote

    Duration: 2 Months

     

    Molaprise is seeking two (2) elite Senior Business Analysts to support the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) Office of Special Investigations (OSI). You will be the primary architects of a technical design blueprint for a new Unemployment Insurance Case Management Solution (CMS). This system will serve as the "central nervous system" for high-stakes fraud investigations.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    Architect the Blueprint: Create a comprehensive Systems Design Document, Architectural Diagrams, and Integration Diagrams for a Salesforce-based CMS.

    Investigative Design: Map complex workflows for secure case intake, fraud reporting, and digital evidence management.

    Data Integration: Design requirements for pulling Risk-Based Alert (RBA) scores and data from Splunk into investigative workflows.

    Stakeholder Engagement: Lead meetings with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate statutory and regulatory requirements into technical specifications.

    Compliance Engineering: Ensure the design meets strict state and federal standards for PII (Personally Identifiable Information) and CTI (Confidential Taxpayer Information).

     

    Mandatory Qualifications 

    To comply with the State’s mandatory requirements, candidates must possess:

    5+ Years of experience in formal requirements gathering and drafting technical specifications.

    3+ Projects successfully completed developing workflows specifically in Salesforce.

    3+ Projects developing investigative workflows (e.g., civil law enforcement, audits, or personnel misconduct).

    3+ Projects working with detailed statutory/regulatory frameworks and confidentiality requirements.

    3+ Projects involving data analytic systems (specifically Splunk) and developing integrated workflows.

    Verification: Ability to provide at least one professional reference that can verify your work on a project of similar scope and complexity.

     

    Preferred Skills

    Experience developing investigative workflows for criminal investigations.

    Prior experience with New York State government or Unemployment Insurance (UI) systems.
