Senior Buyer - Metals Recycling - Base Salary to 110k/year - Fort Worth, TX

• Our client, a reputable metals company is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to join their onsite team in Fort Worth, TX.
  
• In this role, the Senior Buyer will be responsible for buying scrap materials, uncovering new vendors, working with customers, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Establish goals, both financial and non-financial
  
• Investigate new potential sources of consumers of scrap metal
  
• Buy scrap from retail, dealer, industrial customers, repair shops, demolition projects, clean-ups, etc
  
• Maintain accurate records of all buying/sourcing and prospecting activities including closed sales and follow-up activities
  
• Participate in a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, direct mail, email & networking
  
• Source and develop client relationships and referrals

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience working in a metal recycling facility
  
• Experience with business development
  
• Prior experience with pricing & proposal models
  
• Experience selling into the metals industry

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 90k - 110k/year range
