A high-performance consulting firm focused on complex federal and defense engagements is seeking a Senior Capture Manager to lead strategic pursuits from qualification through award. This role is responsible for driving win strategy, competitive positioning, and proposal readiness on high-value opportunities.
This is a highly visible role partnering closely with business development, delivery leaders, technical SMEs, and executive leadership in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end capture efforts for $10M+ federal opportunities
- Develop and execute differentiated win strategies
- Conduct competitive analysis, client assessments, and price-to-win evaluations
- Shape solution strategy with business development and technical leadership
- Build and manage teaming strategies
- Lead gate reviews and executive briefings
- Ensure alignment between capture strategy and proposal execution
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of federal capture experience (DoD or Federal Civilian)
- Demonstrated success supporting $10M+ pursuits within professional services or consulting environments
- Strong working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and federal contracting vehicles (IDIQs, BPAs, GWACs, OTAs)
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams under tight deadlines
- U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain clearance
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
