    Salary Range: $130,000 – $150,000 (DOE)

    Position Overview:
    We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Estimator to join our growing team. This individual will play a critical role in the pre-construction process, overseeing the development of detailed, accurate cost estimates for civil and site development projects. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of excavation, grading, utility installation, and civil construction practices, as well as strong leadership and analytical skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates for public and private sector civil projects.

    • Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine scope and pricing.

    • Perform quantity takeoffs, material pricing, labor and equipment cost analysis.

    • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure competitive and complete bids.

    • Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Executives during the bidding process.

    • Identify project risks, constructibility issues, and value engineering opportunities.

    • Maintain current knowledge of industry costs, trends, and best practices.

    • Assist in project handoff to operations team, ensuring clear communication of estimate assumptions.

    Requirements:

    • 8+ years of experience in civil estimating, preferably with a focus on heavy civil/site work.

    • Proficiency with estimating software (HCSS, B2W, Agtek, Bluebeam, or similar).

    • Strong understanding of civil plans, geotechnical reports, and construction methods.

    • Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills.

    • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines.

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred, but not required with equivalent experience.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience working in Nevada or similar markets.

    • Established relationships with regional subcontractors and suppliers.

    • Knowledge of GPS modeling, Topcon systems, and drone-based surveying workflows.
