Senior Clinical Director and Vice President of Programs and Practices
Position Summary:
The Senior Clinical Director of plays a central leadership role in guiding the strategic and
day-to-day clinical operations of the agency’s five primary programs: School-Based
Therapy, Connect to Kids (C2K), Internship Program, Enrichment Programs (i.e.,
Grandmother’s Circle and Peer Support, National Louis Pilot), and the New Light Therapy
Clinic & Community Work. This role ensures high-quality service delivery, operational
consistency, and alignment with the agency’s mission, while fostering innovation and
clinical excellence across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Oversight & Supervision
\- Provide direct supervision to program managers and supervisors across the agency’s
school-based and clinic re service areas.
\- Maintain direct clinical supervision for select therapists.
\- Monitor caseload distribution, staffing needs, and clinical workflows to support program
stability and quality.
-Oversee relationship building and retention with key partners
Clinical Leadership, Risk Management & Training
\- Design, implement, and lead internal clinical trainings, onboarding processes, and
development of clinical handbooks and guidelines.
\- Provide clinical oversight for service delivery models and best practices, ensuring services
are trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and aligned with agency values.
\- Collaborate with agency leadership on risk management strategies, addressing clinical
concerns and high-risk cases with sound judgment and ethical leadership.
\- Support the development and refinement of the C2K model to enhance its effectiveness
and marketability.
\- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure the successful development and
implementation of the agency’s Early Childhood Initiative.
Compliance & Documentation
\- Partner closely with compliance and clinical operations colleagues to uphold Medicaid
documentation standards and training efforts.
\- Monitor quality assurance processes and participate in audits, reviews, and outcome
reporting.
\- Oversee proper use of the case management system, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and
utility of client data.
Personnel & Operations
\- Collaborate with Human Resources on clinical hiring, onboarding, and employee relations.
\- Develop and implement staff workflows, role clarity, and performance expectations to
support a high-functioning team.
\- Mentor program managers in supervision practices, staff development, and workplace
culture enhancement.
\- Contribute to maintaining a positive, inclusive, and supportive clinical environment across
the agency.
Strategic Development
\- Participate in agency-wide strategic planning and program innovation.
\- Monitor and evaluate program performance, recommending improvements to support
sustainability and growth.
\- Support cross-program collaboration and integration to maximize service impact and
reach.
Qualifications:
\- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral
health field.
\- Current clinical licensure (LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) required.
\- Minimum of 10 years of post-graduate clinical experience, with at least 5 years in a
leadership or supervisory capacity.
\- Proven experience overseeing multiple programs and supervising clinical teams.
\- Strong knowledge of clinical risk management, evidence-based models, and supervision
practices.
\- Familiarity with Medicaid standards, documentation protocols, and quality improvement
processes.
\- Experience with electronic case management systems .

Work Environment:
\- Hybrid schedule with flexibility based on program and leadership needs.
\- Local travel to agency sites when necessary.
