Senior Commercial HVAC Project Manager - HVAC - Base Salary to 120k/year - Charleston, SC

• Our client, a commercial contractor, is seeking a Senior Commercial HVAC Project Manager to oversee HVAC and mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
• The Senior Commercial HVAC Project Manager will oversee commercial HVAC and mechanical projects from planning through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications. This role manages projects of varying size and complexity, including design-build and design-assist projects, and requires experience working with the design and engineering aspects of mechanical construction.

Responsibilities:

• Manage long-term relationships with key owners and clients.
• Perform mechanical and HVAC estimating, including site surveys and plan review.
• Manage purchasing, purchase orders, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Develop and manage project schedules, coordinating with field teams, general contractors, clients, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Plan and manage manpower to meet project requirements.
• Oversee quality control, ensuring work meets plans, specifications, and project requirements.
• Manage project financials, including billing, job costs, manpower, cost control, and profit margins.
• Lead project closeout, including as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, punch lists, and final billing.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of mechanical construction experience.
• Commercial HVAC or mechanical project management experience.
• Experience with the design or engineering aspects of commercial HVAC or mechanical construction, including design-build or design-assist projects.
• Experience with mechanical estimating, plan review, and coordination of multiple trades.
• Knowledge of mechanical construction practices, HVAC systems, and installation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Bluebeam, and project management software.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 90k - 120k/year range
