About the Role:

MK Mechanical LLC is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Indian Trail, NC. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will be put to work diagnosing, servicing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems for a variety of clients. Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units, chillers, air handlers, and refrigeration equipment

Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service agreements on commercial accounts

Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system failures efficiently and accurately

Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals

Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers and management

Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and parts documentation

Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior technicians in the field

Ensure compliance with safety standards, EPA regulations, and local codes

Requirements:

5+ years of hands-on commercial HVAC service and repair experience

Industrial HVAC experience a PLUS.

EPA 608 Universal Certification required

Strong knowledge of commercial refrigeration, electrical systems, and controls

Experience with rooftop units, split systems, VRF systems, Chillers, Boilers.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize service calls

Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor

NATE certification or equivalent trade credentials a plus
