Reimagine 3D Perception for the Real World
Step into the future of perception. Join a cutting-edge team that’s redefining how machines see and understand the world, without relying on expensive sensors like LiDAR or radar. This stealth-mode innovator is building a groundbreaking platform that converts simple camera feeds into rich, semantic 3D maps of the environment. Think real-time, high-definition perception using only passive sensors, camera and IMU, with massive implications across autonomous vehicles, defense systems, agriculture, robotics, and even medical tech.
With strong backing from top-tier investors (including Khosla Ventures) and nearly $8M in funding raised, the company is scaling its engineering team to push the boundaries of what’s possible in 3D computer vision.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Computer Vision Engineer, you’ll work on hard problems at the intersection of geometry, sensor fusion, and SLAM. You’ll write high-performance C++ code to bring perception algorithms to life on real-world systems that operate in real time.
Your impact:
- Design and deploy 3D vision algorithms for dense scene understanding and real-time perception
- Tackle challenges in pose estimation, camera/IMU calibration, and multi-sensor fusion
- Optimize code for performance using modern C++ and parallel computing frameworks (CUDA, Metal, OpenCL)
- Solve core SLAM and geometry problems with a focus on accuracy, speed, and robustness
- Collaborate with world-class engineers and integrate algorithms into deployed autonomous platforms
- Support distributed, remote-first workflows (aligned to Pacific Time hours)
- Contribute to high-impact projects, including work with defense applications and field-ready systems
What You Bring
- 5–15 years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in 3D computer vision
- Deep expertise in SLAM, structure-from-motion, or multi-view 3D reconstruction
- Mastery of C++ in high-performance production environments
- Strong understanding of 3D geometry, linear algebra, and non-linear optimization
- Experience with pose estimation, camera models, and sensor fusion
- Parallel computing proficiency (CUDA, Metal, or OpenCL)
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field
- Proven success shipping real-world vision solutions—not just research demos
- Self-driven, remote-ready, and comfortable working across time zones
