Senior Construction Project Manager - Commercial and Industrial Fencing - Base Salary to 130k/year - Warren, MI

• Our client is a growing specialty contractor that provides commercial and industrial fencing solutions for municipalities, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, manufacturing facilities, government entities, and private-sector clients. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial fencing, guardrail, gates, bollards, access control, perimeter security, site construction, and light civil construction projects from award through closeout.
• The Senior Construction Project Manager will manage multiple concurrent projects while coordinating field crews, subcontractors, materials, equipment, budgets, schedules, safety, quality, and client communication to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Lead project kickoff, schedule development, resource coordination, and field execution planning.
• Manage multiple active commercial and industrial fencing projects, including crew direction, subcontractor management, and on-site coordination.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, inspections, permits, deliveries, and staging logistics.
• Maintain project budgets, cost tracking, change orders, subcontractor agreements, project documentation, and final billing.
• Conduct client meetings, project updates, site visits, punch list completion, and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate project handoff from estimating and collaborate with leadership to improve scheduling, documentation, QA/QC, reporting, and installation processes.
• Manage projects throughout the complete lifecycle including award, mobilization, installation, closeout, and final billing.
• Utilize construction management software including Procore, PlanGrid, Buildertrend, or similar platforms, along with Microsoft Excel and mobile field management tools.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years managing commercial fencing, guardrail, gates, site construction, or light civil construction projects for a contractor or division with $30M+ in annual revenue.
• Hands-on field leadership experience managing construction crews, subcontractors, daily field coordination, and on-site installations.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects while maintaining schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
• Experience improving scheduling workflows, documentation procedures, QA/QC processes, reporting, or installation efficiency.
• Daily experience using construction scheduling software.
• Experience utilizing digital construction documentation systems such as Procore, PlanGrid, Buildertrend, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for project cost tracking.
• Experience using smartphone and tablet-based construction field management tools.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 100k - 130k/year range
