    • Our client is a GC/Construction Management firm that has been in business for over 50 years and has been recognized by the American Institute of Architects, the Construction Advancement Foundation, the Chicago Building Congress, and Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, among others, for their work. My client builds large-scale projects in the education, healthcare/life sciences, hospitality, casino/gaming, multifamily, corporate offices and other industries. They are committed to excellence in their people and business endeavors and strive to be in the top quartile of profitable industry leaders, while having a continuous improvement program in place at all levels of their organization.
    • Currently, they are seeking to hire a Senior Construction Project Manager to join their team. The Senior Construction Project Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of construction projects, while mentoring multiple Project Managers and Engineers. This role requires proven leadership in managing large-scale construction projects and developing talent within an organization.

    Responsibilities:

    • Direct and supervise project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities
    • Produce all elements of project execution plans and ensure effective implementation
    • Provide job-site leadership in the areas of safety and quality assurance
    • Maintain satisfactory relationships with property owners, subcontractors, unions, and other stakeholders
    • Mentor and develop junior project management staff and engineers
    • Understand and act on industry trends, local market conditions, and their business model to make informed decisions and create competitive advantage.
    • Take a comprehensive, forward-thinking perspective when considering proactive solutions to long-term opportunities and risks that may develop in the future.
    • Demonstrate the capacity to recognize feelings and behavioral patterns in yourself and others. Manage emotions effectively in personal interactions and professional relationships.
    • Attract, select, develop, recognize, and retain talented individuals. Utilize motivation and accountability to maximize performance and organizational impact.

    Qualifications:

    • BS or MS degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. (Preferred) Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
    • 10 +years of experience in lead project management roles on projects valued at $50 million or more.
    • Strong technical and communication skills are essential
    • Proven ability to work effectively in collaborative team environments
    • Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office applications (preferred)
    • Demonstrated leadership experience in construction project management
    • Strong understanding of construction processes, safety protocols, and quality standards

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 150k - 175k/year range
    • Annual bonus structure and profit-sharing opportunities
