Senior Construction Project Manager
Alexandria, MN | Full-Time | $95k–$135k

We’re partnering with a well-established general contractor to add a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to their team. This role oversees commercial construction projects ranging from $15M–$45M, with a focus on quality, safety, and strong client relationships. The ideal candidate has a generalist GC background with hands-on knowledge of structural work (concrete, steel, masonry), and is seeking a long-term opportunity in rural Minnesota with future ownership potential.

Project Manager / Sr. Project Manager Responsibilities

• Lead projects from planning through completion, managing schedule, budget, and quality

• Oversee self-performed structural work and subcontractor coordination

• Monitor jobsite safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies

• Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to maintain strong relationships

• Mentor and support field staff to drive project success

• Support long-term succession planning and company growth initiatives

Project Manager / Sr. Project Manager Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction management experience; senior-level experience encouraged

• Proven ability to manage $15M+ projects independently

• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills

• General contractor background with structural/building knowledge (concrete, steel, masonry)

• Ties to rural Minnesota preferred (within ~75 miles of Alexandria)

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Project Manager: $75k-$100k

• Senior Project Manager: $100k-$135k
