Our client, a large financial services organization, is seeking two detail-oriented and organized Contract Administrators for a fully remote contract position. You can onboard as our W2 employee or independent contractor. This role is for senior-level candidates with 5–10 years of experience and is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contracts and recordkeeping agreements.
Position Summary
The Contract Administrator will create, review, and manage client agreements supporting products and services. Responsibilities include drafting agreements using provided templates, handling standard legal correspondence, and serving as a liaison between business units and vendors for special projects or requests. The ideal candidate will improve operational efficiency, identify process enhancements, and ensure consistency and compliance across agreements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Create, amend, execute, and store client legal agreements for both new and existing clients.
Monitor, review, and evaluate ongoing legal and compliance issues affecting recordkeeping, custodial, trust agreements, and other related contracts.
Track multiple versions of negotiated contracts, ensuring previously agreed-upon terms, conditions, and amendments are accurately incorporated.
Maintain institutional knowledge of standard negotiated positions and ensure consistency across similar contract types.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including legal, procurement, finance, compliance, and business units.
Facilitate contract reviews, coordinate signature processes, respond to inquiries regarding contract terms, and provide updates throughout the contract lifecycle.
Identify business processes requiring improvement and recommend alternative solutions to management.
Assist in monitoring, evaluating, and modifying newly implemented processes and initiatives.
Mandatory Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Contract Administrator in a large corporate organization or government entity.
Advanced experience with Microsoft Word and Excel (including macros, merging, and other development tools).
Strong analytical skills and thorough understanding of contractual and legal terms.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ERISA and retirement plan agreements.
Paralegal Certification.
Financial services experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
