    Senior Controller – Your Job Duties

    You will lead the finance and accounting operation as the team leader, focusing on strategy, financial decisions and mentoring the team, overseeing their daily work.

    You will:

    • Oversee the general ledger accounting team including direct oversight of the Accounting Manager and indirect oversight of AR, AP and accounting clerk
    • Prepare the monthly financial statement reporting package and financial accounting operations and key financial metrics
    • Present the monthly financial statements and results of operations to leadership team in monthly meeting, discussing KPIs and analysis of financial performance
    • Develop robust company budget for aggressive growth goals as part of company strategic plan, and monitor the budget to actual results, reporting to the leadership team
    • Monitor cashflow and cash collections
    • Identify areas of improvement that will improve company cash flow, reduce expenses and streamline operations (including visiting other office locations to observe and understand operations)
    • Preparation of statements and information for third-party auditors and annual financial audit

    Senior Controller – Required Skills, Experience and Fit

    You are:

    • An experienced financial accountant with a strong understanding of GAAP and month end close
    • Someone that is comfortable with being asked “why is this like this” and has explanations on the ready
    • Comfortable with challenging a CEO to collaborate to find the best solutions
    • Excited to grow and mentor others
    • A fit for a jeans and boots casual environment (no suit and ties here)
    • A MS Excel guru

    You might be:

    • Experienced with an ERP conversion (from Quickbooks into a larger ERP system)

    Senior Controller – Your Perks & Compensation

    Your compensation will be $150,000 - $160,000 depending on your experience level.

    This role is physically located in office in Rancho Cordova. You may visit Marysville location monthly for a leadership meeting on occasion.
