WHY THIS ROLE
No billable hours. A guaranteed 15% performance bonus on top of a $180K–$240K base. Equity. Full remote. This is an employment law role at an AI-native law firm that runs on flat-fee pricing and AI-assisted workflows — meaning attorneys focus on judgment, client advising, and negotiation rather than time-tracking and routine drafting. For a strong employment lawyer who's tired of the hourly grind but not ready to go fully in-house, this is an uncommon middle path: sophisticated work, modern tooling, startup ownership, and the chance to directly shape how employment law gets delivered to fast-growing companies. The firm is early-stage and growing, so this hire will have real influence over how the employment practice is built.
\-------------------------------------------------------------
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll handle the full spectrum of employment law for a portfolio of startup and growth-stage clients — from employment agreements and restrictive covenants to executive compensation, equity plan design, multi-state compliance, and workplace investigations. You'll also contribute to internal infrastructure (templates, playbooks, precedent libraries) and work directly with the product team to help develop AI-powered legal tools that automate routine employment workflows.
\-------------------------------------------------------------
