    Sansom Staffing is proud to partner with a leading facilities design firm known for creating innovative, efficient, and sustainable environments. We’re searching for a Senior Electrical Designer who’s ready to bring their technical expertise and creativity to a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.

    In this role, you’ll work on industrial and commercial facility projects—from remodels and upgrades to new equipment installations. You’ll play a key part in shaping safe, compliant, and forward-thinking electrical systems that power cutting-edge workplaces.

    What You’ll Do

    • Develop detailed electrical designs and drawings for power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
    • Apply your knowledge of codes, standards, and best practices to ensure every project meets the highest levels of quality and safety.
    • Conduct on-site field reviews to assess existing conditions and integrate findings into your design work.
    • Collaborate closely with architectural, mechanical, and construction teams to deliver seamless, coordinated designs.
    • Support ARC Flash studies and partner with contractors and subcontractors to drive successful project outcomes.
    • Clearly communicate your design intent and technical insights to project teams and clients.

    What You’ll Bring

    • 5+ years of experience designing electrical systems for industrial or commercial facilities.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred); Electrical Construction or Design degrees also considered.
    • Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
    • Hands-on experience managing projects from field data collection through final design.
    • Drafting experience beyond redline revisions preferred.
    • A passion for collaboration, problem-solving, and precision in your work.
