  • Responsibilities

    WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

    • Build and maintain features within A&F's OMS application environment

    • Implement rapid changes to meet changing business and marketing requirements

    • Ensure that our OMS implementations meet the required scalability and reliability required for A&F Direct to Consumer business as well as eCommerce operations

    • Analyze and diagnose any issues which may impact performance or availability in the OMS application and/or eCommerce environment

    • Develop functional and technical documentation on assigned projects

    • Work in a team environment in supporting the team goals, and improving application development and engineering practices

    • Develop code consistent with A&F standard coding practices

    WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO BRING?

    • BS/BA required

    • Excellent working knowledge of Sterling Order Management System components, API's, and related Interfaces

    • 5+ years of experience supporting a production Sterling OMS application environment

    • Java development (J2EE, message driven architecture, server side Java) and troubleshooting (Java profiling tools) skills required.

    • OpenShift/Kubernetes/Docker Container experience required

    • Test driven development using Junit or other testing frameworks

    • Experience with MQ (JMS), WebServices (SOAP/XML) and Kafka integrations required.

    • Experience in all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, unit test, system test, deployment and production support.

    • Excellent communication skills, work ethic and the ability to work well individually as well as in a team environment.

    • Must possess understanding of business processes and ability to solve complex problems

    • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication, reporting and presentation skills
