    Senior Environmental Engineer
    Full-Time | Hybrid | Bellevue or Seattle, WA | Base Salary: $160,000–$200,000

Take on the hard cleanups. Earn the client’s trust. Grow with a firm you own.

If you’re a licensed engineer who likes the tough sites, the ones with complicated contamination, close regulatory review and real stakes for the community, this role puts you right in the middle of that work. It’s a senior position where you’ll be seen, and your judgment will shape outcomes.

Our client is a 100% employee-owned environmental consulting firm. Clients bring them their hardest problems, from high-stakes remediation to regulatory negotiations that affect whole communities. Their scientists and engineers are known for solutions that are technically sound, defensible and practical.

You’ll work with leaders who are shaping the industry across the West Coast. Your expertise will affect project results, client relationships and the firm’s growth.

This role suits someone who likes solving difficult problems, enjoys building client relationships, and wants to raise the level of engineering across a team.

What You’ll Get Out of This Role

    • Real influence: You’ll be the trusted advisor on cleanup strategy, from the conceptual site model to closure. Clients and regulators will see your work.
    • True ownership: As an employee-owner in the firm’s ESOP, you share directly in the business you’re helping to grow.
    • Room to build: You’ll originate clients, open new practice areas and mentor the next generation of engineers and scientists.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • You’ll originate and grow client relationships, find new opportunities across the firm’s core practice areas, and support business development across the firm.
    • You’ll develop cleanup strategies based on strong conceptual site models and regulatory insight. You’ll also prepare and oversee feasibility studies, pilot tests, remedial system designs, bid specifications and engineering drawings.
    • You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams through site assessment, investigation, remedy selection, construction and closure, managing scope, budget, schedule and quality across several complex projects.
    • You’ll make sure key deliverables meet a high technical bar, including RI/FS reports, Cleanup Action Plans, Engineering Design Reports, Cleanup Action Reports and remedial cost estimates for every stage of a project.

What Makes You a Strong Fit

    • You’ve designed and built remediation systems, not just studied them, and you can explain the reasons behind your remedy choices to clients and regulators.
    • You likely have a portfolio of MTCA and VCP cleanups, and you’re comfortable with Local, State and Federal regulators.
    • You enjoy coaching staff engineers and scientists and building a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.
    • Most importantly, you think like an owner: you see the client relationship, the business opportunity and the technical answer as one job.
