    Job Summary

    Sunsational Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join our Austin, Texas team. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for managing all aspects of the estimating process for both public and private projects. This role requires a strong construction background, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively to secure profitable projects. This is a full-time, in-office position.

    Key Responsibilities

    Business Development and Client Relations

    Promote Sunsational Solutions to owners, developers, contractors, planners, architects, engineers, project managers, and any appropriate sales lead by increasing brand awareness, engaging new clients, and participating in professional and/or industry organizations.

    Build and manage long-term relationships with clients.

    Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts.

    Work with other key personnel on business development leads and strategies.

    Estimating and Proposal Management

    Review and respond to broadcast announcements of bidding opportunities.

    Qualify project leads from multiple sources, including web-based postings, public agency opportunities, printed publications, and professional contacts.

    Proficiently draft, proof, audit, and deliver both private and public proposals simultaneously by reviewing blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

    Identify labor, material, and time requirements for installations.

    Identify and execute strategic opportunities within proposals to optimize securing the project.

    Operate and maintain proficiency in all internal estimating systems and sales reports.

    Communicate award information to the project team for seamless transition from estimating to field installations.

    Industry and Customer Service

    Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.

    Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, and new products.

    Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks.

    Qualifications

    Experience :

    3+ years, preferably in a construction-related field

    Strong verbal and written communication skills

    Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required

    Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines required

    Compensation and Location

    Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 based on experience Position Type: In-office at our Austin, Texas Location Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
