    Job Summary:

     

    We are partnering with a rapidly growing advanced manufacturing organization to support the hiring of a Staff/Senior Facilities Electrical Engineer. This role plays a critical part in the execution of capital projects and facility infrastructure development, supporting a high-tech manufacturing environment with complex electrical systems, automation, and data-driven operations.

     

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    Capital Project Execution

    • Lead planning, design, and execution of capital projects from concept through commissioning
    • Manage budgets, schedules, scopes, and contractor performance
    • Ensure alignment with business objectives and facility needs

    Project Leadership

    • Serve as Project Lead for multi-disciplinary and electrical-focused projects
    • Develop scopes of work, cost estimates, schedules, and resource plans
    • Coordinate engineering, operations, maintenance, and vendors

    Technical Oversight

    • Develop technical specifications, standards, and equipment data sheets
    • Evaluate vendor proposals and select best-value solutions
    • Ensure designs meet reliability, maintainability, safety, and compliance requirements

    Field Leadership

    • Oversee installations and commissioning activities
    • Perform inspections and resolve technical issues in the facility
    • Lead troubleshooting efforts during execution and startup

    Controls, Instrumentation & Systems

    • Support instrumentation, control systems, and data acquisition platforms
    • Provide technical troubleshooting and system improvement support
    • Contribute to automation modernization initiatives

    Technology & Standards Development

    • Evaluate emerging technologies for system reliability and performance
    • Develop long-term standards for controls, instrumentation, and electrical systems

    Safety & Compliance

    • Actively support Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives
    • Ensure safe work practices and regulatory compliance across all projects

     

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET), or equivalent
    • Experience managing capital projects in industrial/manufacturing environments
    • Strong background in industrial controls, instrumentation, and electrical power systems
    • Experience leading projects from concept to completion
    • PLC programming and HMI screen development
    • Experience with Allen-Bradley, AutomationDirect, and GE PLC platforms
    • Experience with GE iFix, GE Cimplicity, and Wonderware HMI/SCADA systems
    • Facility power distribution, MCCs, substations, and electrical infrastructure
    • Multi-project execution in active manufacturing environments
