Benefits & Perks - Unlimited PTO - Hybrid work environment - Comprehensive medical, disability, and life insurance with employer contribution - Firm-paid CLEs and annual family law conference attendance - Significant bonus opportunities based on billable hours and client origination - Opportunity to bring an existing paralegal, subject to mutual fit and interview process - Quarterly team-building events and firm-sponsored activities Collaborative culture with talented professionals committed to excellence Responsibilities: • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate emotionally challenging situations with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment • Stay current on developments in Colorado family law and apply emerging legal strategies and best practices to client matters • Maintain compliance with court rules, procedural deadlines, and firm standards while effectively managing a busy caseload • Develop and execute strategic litigation and settlement plans tailored to each client's goals and circumstances • Mentor and collaborate with associate attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure exceptional client service and case outcomes • Serve as lead counsel in court hearings, trials, mediations, settlement conferences, and negotiations • Lead complex family law matters from initial consultation through settlement, trial, or final resolution, including high-net-worth divorce, custody disputes, and complex property division cases • Provide exceptional client counseling and guidance through emotionally complex legal matters • Mentor junior attorneys and legal staff while contributing to a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement Qualifications: • Demonstrated success handling contested hearings, mediations, settlement negotiations, and family law trials • Experience with high-net-worth divorce, business valuations, asset tracing, custody disputes, parenting issues, and spousal maintenance matters • Must reside within the Denver Metropolitan Area and be available to appear in court as required • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active, good-standing membership with the Colorado Bar • Strong organizational and case management skills with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously • Exceptional legal writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills • Ability to build trust with clients while navigating highly sensitive and emotionally charged situations • 10+ years of family law experience with substantial experience handling complex domestic relations matters • Strong leadership abilities with experience mentoring attorneys, paralegals, or legal staff • Collaborative mindset and desire to contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture Compensation: $175,000 - $240,000 yearly
