The Role This is a position for an attorney who: • Thinks strategically before acting • Leads with both strength and empathy • Values thoughtful advocacy over volume-driven practice • Wants their impact to be felt in both client outcomes and firm direction Why Join Mandy Hancock Law • Competitive compensation: $100,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience • Performance-based incentives • Supportive, highly professional team culture • Thoughtful caseloads focused on quality, not volume • Respect for experience, judgment, and work-life sustainability • Opportunity to contribute to the direction and growth of a respected firm Responsibilities: What You’ll Do As a Senior Attorney, you will play a central role in both case strategy and client outcomes, including: • Serving as lead counsel on complex family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and property division • Acting as a primary advisor and advocate for clients during high-stakes, emotionally charged situations • Developing and executing a case strategy from inception through resolution • Drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, briefs, settlement agreements, and related legal documents • Conducting legal research and providing high-level legal analysis • Handling hearings, negotiations, mediations, and court appearances • Collaborating with firm leadership and support staff to ensure excellence in representation • Mentoring and supporting attorneys and staff as appropriate • Upholding the firm’s commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client-centered advocacy Qualifications: What We’re Looking For • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school • Active license and good standing with the State Bar • 10+ years of legal experience, with a strong preference for family law • Deep understanding of family law procedure, strategy, and courtroom advocacy • Proven ability to manage complex cases independently • Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills • Confident, empathetic communicator with clients, colleagues, and the court • Strong professional judgment and ability to lead with composure and clarity • Commitment to high standards of client service and ethical practice Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 yearly
