Responsibilities: • Lead and manage family law cases from inception to resolution, ensuring each client receives personalized and compassionate representation. • Collaborate with our team to develop strategic approaches for complex family law matters, fostering a supportive and innovative work environment. • Advocate for clients in court proceedings, mediation, and negotiations, always prioritizing their best interests and legal rights. • Draft, review, and finalize legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Maryland family law standards. • Provide clear, actionable advice to clients, empowering them to make informed decisions during challenging times. • Mentor and guide junior attorneys and support staff, sharing your expertise to enhance our team's overall performance. • Stay updated on changes in family law legislation and case law, ensuring our firm remains at the forefront of legal practice in Maryland. Qualifications: • Experience in managing and litigating family law cases for at least seven (7) years. • Ability to handle a full case load with efficiency and attention to detail. • Proven track record of preparing for trials and attending court appearances with confidence. • Strong skills in drafting pleadings, motions, legal briefs, and memoranda. • Experience in attending depositions and mediations, ensuring effective representation of clients. • Ability to communicate directly and empathetically with clients, understanding their unique needs. • Collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with paralegals and other team members to achieve the best outcomes for clients. • Interest in mentoring junior attorneys. Compensation: $150,000+ yearly
