Responsibilities: • Support attorneys by assisting with all aspects of family law cases, ensuring smooth and efficient case management. • Collaborate closely with Senior Attorneys to facilitate case strategy and execution. • Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support motions, filings, and case preparation. • Draft, review, and file a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, agreements, and discovery materials. • Organize and prepare materials for trials, including motions, briefs, exhibits, and witness lists. • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other parties involved in legal proceedings. • Maintain accurate and well-organized case files—both physical and electronic, with attention to detail and confidentiality. • Assist with preparation for depositions, mediations, and hearings to support attorneys throughout the litigation process. Qualifications: • Must have at least 4 years of experience working as a family law paralegal, specifically in Georgia. • Proficiency in all aspects of family law, particularly focused on drafting pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and discovery, is essential. • Demonstrated strong research and writing skills are required. • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and legal research software. • Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment is necessary. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must. • Expected to bill 130 hours monthly.
