THE ROLE
A confidential, highly respected and growing multi-billion-dollar global retail brand is seeking a Senior Analyst – Finance to join its New York-based team at a pivotal moment of transformation and growth.
This role will be instrumental in supporting enterprise financial forecasting, internal reporting, and business performance analysis, helping leadership make informed decisions across key initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical rigor, financial planning expertise, and a natural curiosity for identifying trends, uncovering insights, and driving process improvements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the ongoing development and maintenance of financial forecasts, partnering closely with divisional finance teams to analyze results and forward-looking projections
- Deliver regular updates to leadership, providing insight into performance versus expectations and highlighting key business drivers
- Conduct financial analyses to assess profitability, business initiatives, and investment decisions
- Support annual planning cycles, expense budgeting, and target setting in partnership with corporate and divisional leadership
- Track and communicate variances against budget, forecast, and prior year performance
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, systems, and financial workflows
- Assist with the buildout and implementation of new reporting tools, dashboards, and internal analyses
- Support ad hoc projects and leadership requests as business needs evolve
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure financial insights are translated into actionable business recommendations
IDEAL BACKGROUND
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3–5 years of relevant FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis experience
- Strong experience with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
- Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, SQL, VBA, Vena, or enterprise finance systems is highly preferred
- Strong ability to synthesize data into clear, actionable business insights
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to leadership and cross-functional partners
