We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to support financial reporting, treasury management, tax coordination, and operational accounting functions within a dynamic investment organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, accounting, and communication skills, with experience in real estate, private equity, or family office environments. This role will work closely with leadership, external accountants, developers, and investors to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient financial operations across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Accounting
• Prepare financial statements in collaboration with bookkeepers and external accountants
• Review monthly accounting reports, cash reconciliations, and general ledger activity
• Prepare quarterly financial statements and capital account statements
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data across multiple entities
• Support compliance with GAAP and fund accounting principles
Treasury Management
• Prepare and review wire transfers for operating expenses, capital activity, and distributions
• Track incoming wires and ensure all deposits are accurately recorded and allocated
• Assist with cash flow monitoring and treasury oversight
Tax Coordination
• Coordinate with CPA firms to provide information required for year-end tax filings
• Support preparation and communication of quarterly tax estimates
• Monitor tax deadlines and ensure timely completion of filings for portfolio entities and partnerships
• Serve as liaison between external accountants and internal stakeholders on tax-related matters
Portfolio & Operational Support
• Review developer draw requests and ensure funding accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare presentations, reports, and dashboards summarizing financial performance and key trends
• Monitor quarterly performance of portfolio investments and entities
• Support executive leadership with financial analysis and operational reporting
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CFA preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or assistant controller-level roles
• Experience within real estate investment, private equity, or family office environments strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and fund accounting principles
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting systems; QuickBooks experience is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with leadership and external partners
