    Our client is a highly regarded private equity firm looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst. Daily performance includes performing analytics, preparing valuations and portfolio management presentations across all portfolio companies, producing management reports, on-board investments and proactively looking for opportunities to streamline processes.This hire will be responsible for:

    Position Summary:

    • Build and maintain the company models and update models reflect new projections from equity research reports, press releases or other filings relating to fund performance
    • Perform quarterly flash and snapshot results with detailed commentary and analysis
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial results packages, including income statement analysis (budget to actuals, KPIs)
    • Analyze current and past trends in KPIs including all areas of revenue, costs, expenses and capex
    • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
    • Collaborate with IR team to help prepare materials for shareholder updates or other marketing materials, including financial updates and analyses of products’ performance, product guidance, etc.
    • Coordinate with bankers for any deal-specific advisory or financings, as well as quarterly communications and filings to remain in compliance with our debt covenants
    • Assist in preparing quarterly internal reporting deliverables to senior management, including Management Committee, Audit Committee, and CFO Earnings Packages
    • Assist in quarterly internal and external AUM reporting, earnings release, financial statements and related disclosures, as well as internal management decks and Investor Relations materials
    • Assist as needed with the monthly & quarterly AUM review and reporting process for all funds in accordance with the established AUM policy
    • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics
    • 5-7 years of experience – in Banking or Public Accounting (prior analytical experience in forecasting, modeling, or financial analysis a plus)
    • Individual must have strong drive and initiative, ability to connect, collaborate and communicate effectively with all levels and the ability to take ownership of tasks and “run with it” to conclusion
    • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail
