  • Responsibilities

    The Senior Financial Analyst is an integral part of the International Finance team, providing financial support, extensive analytics, and project management to the SVP, International Finance. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with regions and brands, corporate departments, international region management and ELC’s shared services.

    You will be responsible for:

    Financial Reporting:

    • Prepare, review, and distribute various monthly and quarterly reports as assigned ensuring accuracy to the underlying information.
    • Conduct financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting to support key initiatives or projects led by the International Finance team.
    • Identify value creation opportunities via synthesis of consumer, distribution, category and competitor trends across the regions.
    • Support internal and external quarterly financial reporting including regional category and channel analysis, and earnings release / Board of Directors presentations.
    • Support the annual Budget process and Long-Range Planning development.
    • Help develop and frame key strategic pivots to drive margin improvement.
    • Help to frame and develop various scenarios around top line and margin expansion including M&A
    • Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities across the international organization, proposing strategies to mitigate potential challenge. ****

    Project Management:

    • Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and milestones for key initiatives.
    • Assist to monitor and report on progress towards key initiatives, identifying potential risks and proposing solutions.
    • Assist in developing business cases for projects or investments.
    • Coordinate with the OneSource team to support International FP&A processes, including timing of deliverables and ensuring adequate review.
    • Serve as the Point of Contact for key cross-functional project stakeholders.
    • Draft and edit communications and presentations on behalf of SVP, International Finance.

    Qualifications

    • Undergraduate degree – BA/BS in finance or engineering, accounting, or economics.
    • MBA preferred.
    • 3+ years of experience in finance, investment banking, consulting, or relevant functions.
    • Strong financial skillset. 2+ years of financial modeling.
    • Demonstrated results in improving processes and developing financial analysis that provides business insight.
    • Well organized; ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
    • Team player with self-initiative; exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments and to assist with various ad hoc projects as needed.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Advanced PowerPoint, Excel, and Business Case/DCF analytical skills; familiarity with SAP financial modules is a plus.

    The anticipated base salary range for this position is $71,000 to $106,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on
    geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
