  • Responsibilities

    Our client, a publicly traded and innovation-driven life sciences company, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its corporate finance team. This is a rare opportunity to work in a highly analytical role with direct exposure to executive leadership, including the CFO.

    Location: Washington, DC (5 days/week onsite)
    Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders only

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for multiple SG&A cost centers (e.g., Legal, Finance, Sales).

    • Present monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting results directly to senior executives.

    • Oversee month-end close activities for corporate functions.

    • Assist with SEC reporting and SOX compliance efforts.

    • Support procurement and contract negotiations.

    • Partner with stakeholders across the business to drive planning and performance insights.

    Ideal Profile

    • CPA required, with Big 4 public accounting experience, including at least one year at the senior associate level.

    • 3+ years of total experience in audit and/or corporate finance.

    • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and SOX 404.

    • Excellent analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.

    • ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics or similar) is a plus.

    • Industry experience in life sciences or pharmaceuticals is a plus.
