Our client is one of the most recognized consulting firms in the NYC metro area and has been performing high-level design, filing, inspection and certification services for over 25 years. They are looking for someone to join their firm that is capable of the following responsibilities:

• Pre-inspect the fire alarm system to ensure it meets contract and AHJ requirements.
• Compile a punch list of deficiencies for the contractor to resolve before the NYCFD inspection.
• Attend the NYCFD inspection and collaborate with the expeditor to ensure prompt issuance of the final Letter of Approval.
• Respond promptly and accurately to any FDNY Letter of Defect.
• Design replacements or modifications to fire alarm and life safety systems in compliance with NYC Building and Fire Codes.
• Relevant certifications and/or memberships: S98, NICET, NYFAA, SFPE, NFSA, NFPA, AFAA
• Salary expectation: $160K base and above - quarterly bonus and reimbursement for pertinent travel and expenses
• Territory: NYC Metro and surrounding boroughs - site and project visits expected daily
• Design Systems: AutoCAD and/or Revit experience preferred
