Position Summary: Are you passionate about fitness, helping seniors live longer with resources for a healthy lifestyle, and ready to lead a team as a foundational part of a service that is good for the community? The Senior Fitness Community Manager plays a critical role in managing and growing the quality and consistency of the Live 2 B Healthy fitness program across all partner communities in the West Denver Metro area. The territory area typically goes as far north as Boulder, west as Golden, and south as Littleton. This position is responsible for (1) serving as a subject matter expert for Live 2 B Healthy classes, (2) onboarding a team of fitness trainers, (3) managing class schedules and delivery ensuring the program is delivered according to brand standards, (4) preparing to cover scheduled classes when fitness trainers are unavailable, and (5) building trusted relationships with our senior community leaders to help ensure long-term partnerships while identifying opportunities for growth in terms of quantity and types of classes in place. The Senior Fitness Community Manager serves as the key liaison between trainers and senior living communities, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality participant experience. The projected amount of work will be around 20 hours a week and should not require time at night or on weekends.
Responsibilities
Trainer Scheduling & Coverage: Create and manage the master class schedule across all client locations. Assign trainers to classes and arrange for qualified substitutes as needed to prevent disruptions.
Trainer Oversight & Quality Assurance: Ensure all trainers are properly certified and compliant with Live 2 B Healthy standards. Conduct regular site visits, class observations, and provide ongoing feedback and support.
Trainer Recruitment & Onboarding: Help recruit, interview, and onboard new trainers. Coordinate initial training and ensure all new hires are fully prepared to lead classes independently.
Class Communication & Logistics: Serve as the primary point of contact for communities regarding class times, schedule changes, and trainer assignments. Communicate promptly and professionally with community contacts and trainers.
Program Quality & Development: Monitor and support trainer performance, identify areas for improvement, and facilitate continuing education opportunities. Maintain consistency in program delivery across all locations.
Substitute Teaching: Serve as a backup instructor and fill in for classes when needed to maintain continuity of service.
Relationship Management: Develop and nurture strong, ongoing relationships with key decision-makers at partner communities to ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for expansion.
Client Retention & Engagement: Monitor program success metrics and satisfaction at active locations. Coordinate with trainers and community contacts to ensure consistent service quality and resolve any issues promptly.
Qualifications
Experience in fitness instruction, personal training, or group exercise management • Strong organizational and scheduling skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Confidence in managing multiple trainers and community relationships
Current nationally recognized fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, AFAA, or equivalent)
Current CPR/AED certification
Carry active insurance
Reliable transportation and punctuality for supporting sessions
Preferred:
Experience in senior fitness or working with older adults inside senior living communities
Experience in relationship development & management—preferably in senior living, healthcare, wellness, or fitness
Experience with Mindbody platform especially if includes managing class schedules
Understanding of age-related conditions and how to safely tailor exercises to the capabilities or limitations of participants to maximize benefit and minimize the risk of injury
Familiarity with fitness program management or franchise operations
Compensation:
