Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of financial statements, including monthly closings and quarterly reports for private equity funds
• Manage debt, hedge reporting, and consolidation processes, ensuring precision and full GAAP compliance
• Collaborate with external auditors to manage audits, tax deliverables, and year-end financial footnotes
• Drive the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies, internal controls, and investor reporting
• Conduct technical accounting research, providing actionable insights and memos as necessary

Requirements

• A 4-year degree in Accounting or a Master of Accounting; CPA certification preferred
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, ideally in private equity, with a background at a public accounting firm being a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with Yardi Systems and Workiva software a plus
• Strong expertise in consolidation, equity method accounting, and GAAP
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, paired with solid analytical and interpersonal abilities
