Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and review of financial statements, including monthly closings and quarterly reports for private equity funds
- Manage debt, hedge reporting, and consolidation processes, ensuring precision and full GAAP compliance
- Collaborate with external auditors to manage audits, tax deliverables, and year-end financial footnotes
- Drive the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies, internal controls, and investor reporting
- Conduct technical accounting research, providing actionable insights and memos as necessary
Requirements
- A 4-year degree in Accounting or a Master of Accounting; CPA certification preferred
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, ideally in private equity, with a background at a public accounting firm being a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with Yardi Systems and Workiva software a plus
- Strong expertise in consolidation, equity method accounting, and GAAP
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, paired with solid analytical and interpersonal abilities
