What You’ll Do:

Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding

Ensure CA labor law compliance and maintain HR documentation

Support payroll, timekeeping, and benefits administration

Handle employee relations, employee events and build trust across a diverse team

Communicate HR policy and procedures to a bilingual workforce in English and Spanish

What We’re Looking For:

3-5 years of HR generalist experience (preferably in small family-owned business)

Strong knowledge of California employment law

Bilingual: English & Spanish (required)

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources or related field

Previous experience as an HR Generalist or related position

In-depth knowledge of human resources policies and labor laws

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR databases

Excellent time management and problem-solving skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills
