Wright Technical Services is supporting a top integrator client in their search for a Senior Hardware Design Engineer. This key role involves developing and executing electrical hardware designs for various industrial and technical applications. Responsibilities include designing, documenting complex electrical systems, and ensuring high standards of quality and compliance throughout the design process.

Responsibilities:

\- Collaborate with project engineers, team managers, and procurement personnel.

\- Research and specify electrical hardware and components.

\- Prepare detailed schematics and engineering drawings.

\- Ensure the quality of documentation, including drawings and parts lists.

\- Generate bills of materials from specifications and drawings.

\- Maintain custom AutoCAD menus and libraries for control panel components.

Qualifications:

\- Strong understanding of electrical design concepts, components, and power distribution.

\- Ability to generate electrical drive control drawings from descriptions.

\- Proficiency in performing drafting tasks from verbal and written direction.

\- Excellent time-management skills to handle multiple priorities.

\- 3-5 years of design and CAD experience, with a focus on AutoCAD Electrical 2014 or newer.

\- Experience with UL certifications and compliance.

\- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA-79, and UL-508; E-Plan experience is a plus.
