What You’ll Do:
Perform hands-on electronic hardware testing on advanced medical imaging systems.
Design, simulate, and validate circuits; support PCB development and schematic design using Altium or AutoCAD.
Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and formal test reports.
Conduct functional, safety, and reliability testing on low-voltage analog and digital systems.
Troubleshoot and validate hardware interfaces like SPI, LVDS, and DDR.
Perform EMC (EMI/EMS) analysis and recommend practical countermeasures.
Use lab equipment like oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, and power analyzers to ensure product excellence.
Perform root cause analysis on complex hardware/software interactions.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in engineering, QA, and regulatory compliance.
Support design verification and validation efforts according to FDA, ISO 13485, and IEC 60601 standards.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation including test protocols, reports, and regulatory submissions.
What You Bring to the Team:
5+ years of hands-on experience in electronic hardware testing, preferably within regulated industries like medical devices, aerospace, or automotive.
Strong expertise in analog and digital circuit design and testing.
Proficiency in PCB design and circuit simulation tools.
Solid knowledge of EMC/EMI testing principles and mitigation techniques.
Familiarity with FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and IEC 60601 standards.
Proficiency in lab equipment and test automation tools (LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python).
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
Ability to work onsite in Raleigh, NC, and start within two weeks.
